  • MLA format- style for writing research papers.you use it to cite sources in liberal arts and humanities
  • Works cited page- it lists everything you have sited
  • Annotated bibliography- includes a summary and/or evaluation of each of the source
  • Quoting- provide support and other points of view
  • Paraphrasing- putting a passage into your own words
  • Summarizing- putting the main ideas in your own words. only the main points
  • Plagiarism- takings someones work and using it as your own
